MEETING POINT (1)

When Art and Clothing in the same matrix is called FASHION

Where else did Ariadne’s thread take me?

It was at TFF … meaning Transylvania Fashion Festival.

In a beautiful city in Transylvania – Cluj-Napoca – for three days, I met wonderful people: dr.Matei Miko (Producer/President of the Transylvania Fashion Festival), Nadya Valeva (President of European Fashion Council), Anca Balan (President of Romanian Fashion Council), Claudiu Pavelin Galatescu (artistic director), the representatives of Holde.ro,and of course, Anca Turcasiu, who presented the whole event.

…And many other nice people from the organizing team. Everyone fully deserves our appreciation, of those who were part of the beauty of the festival.

I was proud to be a part of it with my dear and skilled students.

Today is about the place,
The venue of the Festival was the Esplanade of the Center for Urban Culture in the Central Park of Cluj-Napoca, which was transformed due to an impressive logistics of catwalk, light and LED screens, into a beautiful outdoor amphitheater, guarded by the imposing building of the Casino and the historic Artesian Fountain in 1897, inspired by the buildings of the famous Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam.

The festival was designed to help increase the visibility of the creativity of participating designers, through the combined contribution of local media and partners in the European Fashion Council and FashionTV.

Today it is about the location, about the organization and arrangement, about the explosion of sound, light and color that enchanted us. About what the public saw for three days of the titanic backstage work, which lasted for weeks. A puzzle that required sustained work, with dedication and professionalism. Our applause for all those who orchestrated the whole event!

It is better to let the images speak for themselves!

I’ll give you a meeting tomorrow to continue the story. Ariadne’s thread will run on the catwalk …

………………..

Until our next “meeting”, remember to dress… healthy!
